called my local Hallmark today to see if the ones I ordered came in. They couldn't find them. They called me back to tell me they didn't get enough in and would order more. Obviously they forgot to order them! I got so mad! So my husband called another Hallmark store and found some for me and bought them. I am very happy for his thoughtfulness. As far as the other Hallmark. Well I will cancel my order unless someone on here is going to the reunion and would like one.ont]

Awhile ago when this subject first came up and the fake "goodnights" were included, someone (I "think" Uncle Coaster?) said he never heard the goodnights like that where they were laughing at the end and didn't think the dialogue was authentic. I assured him the dialogue was in fact authentic, although I couldn't recall which episode it was on. I just watched "The Fulfillment," the episode where we see Ann (the dreamer) and Curtis (the blacksmith) for the second and last time and they end up deciding to adopt little Stevie. The goodnight dialogue from this show was the original dialogue recorded for the Hallmark ornament. It sounds MUCH better with the Walton voices.
In any case...I'm glad they dropped this from the ornament and are just using the theme song. I hope Uncle Coaster sees this.

I bought the ornament - it's pretty cute. I think it would have been cuter if they had put a little wreath on the door, or maybe some garland on the front porch. After all, it is a Christmas ornament, and it's quite brown.

Don't cancel that order! The store near me might be sold out. Thanks!

OK, so I listened to the audio. The music part is great, but the 'good night' audio is horrible!! I wish they could have digitally remastered the original and used that instead of trying to apparently recreate it with other robotic sounding voices? It's quite lacking.
Just wanted everyone to know that originally they had this Waltons Christmas ornament play the Walton's theme, then at the end of it they had 'other' voices used for the goodnights. Hallmark debuted this ornament today (10/4) and I went to pick up mine. It now just plays the Walton's theme music, they got rid of the voices. I'm glad they did that, if they couldn't use the authentic voices then I didn't want any at all...so we just get to hear the wonderful Waltons music.
My Hallmark store just had six of them plus the display one. I asked them if they had any more of the ornaments in the back and they told me that was all they had at their store. Sounds like if you want one, you better go get it.
Yikes!!!! I better go tomorrow!

I wish they had included the front side entrance on the end of the house. The 'mudroom' that leads right into the kitchen. But I'm not going to be too picky, thrilled that they actually released an ornament for The Waltons.

He just walked in and handed me the box. It is cute. Not too big. Has a spot for getting it signed. Comes with batteries that you have to put in. Now, where is that tiny screwdriver?

I remember the episode but don't remember the goodnights. Thanks again for coming back and letting me know which one its from. And am very glad to hear they didn't include the vocals in the final ornament.

It will be available at www.shop.Hallmark.com on Monday (Oct 13) -- at $17.95.... to have just one ornament shipped to your home, the postage/handling is an additional $6.99, or free shipping if you spend $50.... but, you can have it shipped to your local Hallmark store (in care of your name) for free.... You can also "pre-order" now, if you want....
For years, I ordered Christmas cards, wrapping paper, etc., through Hallmark online and have found them to be very good.... started doing that when I couldn't find the type of wrapping paper I wanted at a Hallmark store -- difficult to find paper for very small packages with any kind of small enough pattern.... Also, I'd spend at least $5 in gas if I head to the nearest store, which is south and not on any normal route for me -- more like $7-8 if I head north.... So, it makes sense to go the online route

I hope I can get one it seems like it would be a nice Christmassy item. I shall have to add it to my list! It's even more exciting to hear the fake voices have been removed.

We live in Ecuador, and although Hallmark is here, the stores do not sell Keepsake ornaments. My mother in PA bought one for me, and I am anxious to see it when I am in the USA the next time.
