Hallmark must not care if their morning ratings drop. Why not do "I Love Lucy" 24/7?

I don't have Hallmark, so it doesn't matter to me. One more season to go. I might get "The Homecoming" first.

It was only due to bad weather that I got to see The Loss and The Abdication this past week. I have both on DVD and have it through the eighth season now. but I still love that ' hopping toads' line on The Abdication!

I am so disappointed. I emailed Hallmark last night but I guess they don't care. I'll have to get some of the DVD's.

I plan on buying the whole series on DVD as soon as affordability permits so no problem here.

From what I've read on this post, it seems we have come to a turning point. More and more of us have the DVDs, and we don't need to depend on Hallmark's whims. Last time, there was an outcry, but now we can say "Forget you, Hallmark! The Waltons are better than you!"
Still, I suggest those that do have the channel boycott it and send letters. Just to let em' know what we feel.

My guess is that Hallmark will discover later that their ratings have gone way down and put the Walton's back on the air. Question is, do we really need them to? I have all my DVDs ... so I'm happy.
Anymore word on the made for TV movies coming out on DVD?

Even though I have all the seasons that have been released on DVD of the Waltons I still have a daily ritual of recording the Waltons from the Hallmark channel and watching the show while I eat lunch or I watch it in the evening. I guess I can always choose a show I want to watch and pop that DVD in but it's fun not knowing which episode I am going to see until I turn on the TV at lunch time and there it is. I guess I just hate change...

Maybe TVLand would take it and cut back some on Andy Griffith. Not that Andy is not good but it would add more verity to their schedule.

I don't think the fact that all of the Waltons will soon be out on DVD is the reason there taking it off Hallmark shows MASH 4 times a day and all of them are on DVD Little House on the Prairie is on 4 time too and all of them are on DVD too.
