Ralph was a great actor. He is my 2nd favorite TV dad. John could be a bit strict, but he was also loving, gentle and supportive.

I still can't believe he's gone. It's been like losing a member of my family. He was a treasure. I wish I had gone to one of the reunions before he passed away.
It's actually hard for me to see him in any other role. To me, he is John Walton. I know that is silly, but that's how I see him. I picture him still working at the mill, busying about, moving a little slower, but still having fun and enjoying life. He was very loved.

I wasn't really a regular poster, just popped in from time to time. I think about the Walton's a lot though. Love them all. |
