So, I have this baby palm tree that I planted when I bought my new house. Have no idea how to keep it alive over the winter. Should I dig it up or hope for the best and let it fend for itself. Keep in mind I live in Oregon. By the way, I named her Gerty!
I also have some really cool tropical plants, but I couldn't tell you the name of them. They are about 4 ft high and spring out new thingy madigy's (Leaves?) from the center of the plant as they grow up(ward): have no idea what to do with them either.
By the way, those of you who were at the reunion/auction in Virginia know I won starters from 'Olivia's Christmas Cactus' (Thanks HAMSTER!) You will all be happy to know that it sprang up roots in the cup of water a week ago and I am now a mother (again)! So, what do I do with it now!
Signed, Stupid Plant Lover (I can use all the help I can get. SOS!)

Hey ... I was being for real! I don't want Gerty to freeze to death over the Winter.
