I got a facebook message today from forum member tracilynn, who used to post regularly on the forum but hasn't been here since last November. She decided to pay our forum a visit again, but she can't get logged in. I'm sure it has something to do with the Proboards change that happened last February, but I'm not sure how to help her. I hope someone here can remember what to do. She says it accepts her email and password, but then it says she needs an activation key which is in her email, but she didin't get an activation key in her email. Does anyone else here remember getting an activation key, or do you have any advice for her? I want her to get logged in, because we miss her on the forum!

Keeper of Judge Baldwin's portrait. I have truly been wondering what had happened to her. Glad to hear that she wants to visit us again. When the Proboards changed it asked me for my username & password. I typed that in & then the way it was "worded" it seemed to me that they wanted me to create a new password & I did not want to do that. So I just went ahead & clicked on the button that was on the page. I can't remember if it was an "enter" button or exactly what the button said but anyway after I clicked on it, the Proboards accepted me & I was let back in to the Waltons Forum. I still use the same username & password that I always had to get onto this forum. Has she just tried clicking on whatever button is "next" after putting in her username & password to see if it will let her on like it did me? It never said anything to me about an activation key in my email??? Did she check her spam?

The thread was "forum upgrade" started on Feb. 14th, 2013 at 12:39 p.m. by the forum administrator (Brenda ). It is 9 pages long, last entry was on March 2nd & in the beginning several people had trouble with logging in & getting on.

I told tracilynn that others had trouble when the forum first changed. She said she is going to try to get her daughter to help her get on.

I was able to get on the new board without an activation key.
