Here's the thing.... I'm gonna drive you crazy with this, and I wouldn't blame you at all if you gave up I've been thinking that maybe it should be "John-Boy's Room" with a shot that includes not only the desk, but parts of the bed, dresser, etc.... I guess taken sort from the doorway..... I don't know.... maybe just the desk, along with most of the window, the lamp hanging down, etc.  ?? I am never satisfied, do you see that?? And i have a terrible time making decisions like this.... Woe upon woe. I am trying to stick with this so it can be done once and for all, BUT IT ISN'T EASY FOR ME! I hope I can sleep tonight.... hope you can, too Ok, The only room photo I could find was for the replica room done in the Walton's museum-- not the one used for the show. The best one I could find is this shot of him at his desk thru the bedroom window. What do you think... of the picture, colors and font style? Attachments:

I think that the idea of a "keeper" is a lot of fun! I am new to this forum and have started catching up on the later seasons of this show recently. I find I'm really missing having this type of show to watch. I love a good sitcom, but would love to see more young people look at the simpler way of life and admire THAT instead of this fast paced, text driven world we now live in. Ok (stepping off the soapbox) What I would like to ask is to be the keeper of the Waltons kitchen table. I love the way everyone gathered around everyday and talked. I loved the green and white checked tablecloth! I don't have an image to download yet. I'll start looking for one if you approve! ~Thank you~ how about me being a keeper of the dew drop inn,since my ferris wheel picture isn't up here. |

I only have one now. The Blue Ridge Chronicle. Grandma's shoes are up for adoption if someone wants them. cindy walton's carousel isn't up there,neither is my church. |

I would love to be the keeper of John Boy's newspaper press! If it is available.
I see there is a keeper of the Blue Ridge Chronicle already, so if that is part of it, I would like the tree house, the barn or Chance the milk cow.

You have to be a member of the forum for 2 weeks before you can become a keeper of something. I think any of those things you mentioned are available, so keep visiting the forum and posting, and then you can choose. |

Hey, Johnboyfan... those are all great ideas! These two weeks will go by fast.
Meanwhile, start looking on the internet for a picture of that one special thing you want for your keeper so you'll have it ready for your banner. When you're two weeks are up, post the picture here and someone can create the banner for you. (if you want.)

I would love to be able to be the keeper of the Baldwin's Recipe Still if no one has that one yet. I don't see it on the list.

I did the same thing when I looked for a keeper. Except I wanted the supper table! Lots of other things to choose though!! |

I was thinking about the actual still that they kept in the kitchen - not The Recipe itself. I just read on one of the many feeds that I have to wait two weeks anyway.

I believe I can now become a keeper. I have been a member for a few weeks now. If this is so, can I request to be the keeper of the Recipe Machine. I do not see it on the list yet.

Just send me a personal message with colors you like and what you want your banner to look like. (look around at some of the other keeper banners to figure which style suits you) |

Ok, dumb question, I have my keeper pic all set to go, but how do I set it as my signature? All the dialog box seems to want is text.
