I think that the idea of a "keeper" is a lot of fun!
I am new to this forum and have started catching up on the later seasons of this show recently. I find I'm really missing having this type of show to watch. I love a good sitcom, but would love to see more young people look at the simpler way of life and admire THAT instead of this fast paced, text driven world we now live in.
Ok (stepping off the soapbox) What I would like to ask is to be the keeper of the Waltons kitchen table. I love the way everyone gathered around everyday and talked. I loved the green and white checked tablecloth! I don't have an image to download yet. I'll start looking for one if you approve!

On the keeper list he is number 29 - Walton's kitchen table. Hopefully there is something else just as meaningful to you that can become your keeper. When you decide what keeper you would like, there are some wonderful people on this forum who will make you a GREAT keeper. My next suggestion would be the front porch of the house. They did a lot of talking and problem solving there... What do you think? |

I have been wondering when someone would want it. I have also been surprised that no one has taken the front porch swing. They spent a lot of time on the porch and/or on the swing.  |

Hi Nickie, and a very warm welcome to the Forum! I look forward to your posts and really like your idea of the front porch for a keeper. Many of the episodes had memorable scenes on the front porch. A grand idea indeed!

Well, it's settled then! Keeper of the Walton's front porch! I found a cute picture of the family sitting on the steps of the porch!

I have one request.. I know Marilyn is the keeper of Ike's store, but has Ike's motorcycle and sidecar ever been bagged as yet? I would certainly enjoy maintaining it as I travelled around the forum pages. Thanks for any help in advance.. mercantile |
