You're Welcome on the post..
Now the next find for me is to locate the song (singer) that Miss Emily and Mamie Baldwin play on the victrola for John Boy and Hawthorne Dooley when they come to the house in search for gas.
That maybe a little harder to locate.

That's the song they all sing together while drinking the recipe.
There is a part when Mamie puts a record on the victrola and says the name of the person whom is singing it, but I can not remember (right now) the name she mentions. The record hangs and keeps repeating (skipping) over and over and then they shut down the victrola and they all start singing.. "Throw out the Lifeline".
Thanks for helping me out though,

Scott in 1888. Lyrics and music by Edwin S Ufford.

The phonograph that Miss Emily and Mamie Baldwin had was in fact called The victor talking machine. The victrola was the phonographs that didn't have the big horn on it.

There is a channel I think that is simulcast on Sirius and XM that has old radio shows. I also listen to old radio shows on www.ksav.org. KSAV is an Internet radio station that specializes in nostalgia. Yesterday USA also broadcasts old radio shows. Their website is www.yesterdayusa.com.
