I can't wait for S8. I have already requested $40.00 under the tree at Christmas time for the new season. I always pick up a copy at Target, it is the only store that sells the DVD of the Waltons in my town. I am watching the Decade of the Waltons on U tube and enjoying every minute of it.

I am still hoping Columbia House will have it shortly. I have hoped that SAMS might have it but they have been a real disappointment over the past couple of years.

Amazon is always a good bet. If you have purchased previous seasons, they will notify you in advance of the next scheduled release and allow you to pre-order.

Here's another place to consider when ordering Season 8. I always order mine through a company called Family Video. You can go on their website, place your order and they ship it once it's released. I've gotten all the Waltons seasons through them and I've never had any problems with the company or the DVD's. Take care.

I always preorder mine from walmart.com and they have always came in my mailbox the day or one day after the release date. No problems and that day is always a good one.

I always preorder mine from Bestbuy.com and never had any problems with my DVD. But right now the price is at 34.99 but it will come down to 29.99 or cheaper later. I'm not in hurry to preorder..

I could see if SAMS or Walmart has it when it comes out but Columbia House is the place where I have had membership for a long time....
