My favorite Walton is John Sr and Olivia and of course I loved everybody, you name it..
John Sr- he was wise, even-tempered and respected the right of his children to make their own descision, mannerisms with his wife and parents.
Olivia- being a housewife and mother of 7 children who she treats them like individuals, stands up for her principal, etc
Grandpa- who loved to tell stories and was a big flirt.

I loved Olivia very much. My mother looked like her. So when we use to watch the show together, I pictured myself as Erin and my mother as Olivia. I always thought wow how nice it would of been to have all those brother and sisters, I am an only child.
I have a ? for Ya'll. How many of you have siblings, and how many?

I'm the oldest of 4 and the youngest is only 23 years old which I'm 17 years older than my sister, same parents.

I have two brothers and one sister. My son is an only child and he loves it. I think he enjoyes being the center of attention.

My fav has always been Grandpa. He was always so full of fun and games. Will Geer did such an excellent job with that character.

I hope Jim Bob can go to the top of the polls. You all know that I do love his acting. Awesome Character.  Mary Ellen is much nicer in seasons after s.5. Before then she was super snobby. Erin never really leaves her snobbiness. Ben is always cocky, but he matures a little (notice I say, a little) Jason is always selfish, especially about him getting his wife pregnant all the time and leaving her. Grrrr. Momma and Daddy always so consistent. Grandpa hilarious - Grandma sweet after the stroke. Elizabeth is closer to Jim Bob than any of the other siblings. John Boy ~ Sometimes I admire him and sometimes not. |
