I think I like it better than the original tv one. I still really like the tv one, but the piano makes it's a little more " soft"

I just bought the piano sheet music off of ebay to the Waltons opening theme. I received it in the mail on Friday (6/15). It is the original printing from 1972.

Daniela.......When I was a girl my school offered after school piano or guitar lessons. I desperately wanted to learn how to play the guitar but no matter how much I begged my mom, she signed me up for piano lessons.
Now you can easily get a guitar & carry it around......a piano costs much more plus we never ever had a piano. The only person we knew with a piano was my great aunt & she lived an hour away! LOL!!
But I have long ago forgotten how to play the piano since I did not have one readily available. I bought the sheet music because the front cover has a great picture of the Waltons cast on it & I thought it might work to get their autographs on it at the September Reunion.

I bought him a keyboard b/c I couldn't afford a piano, he plays it constantly! He just got a Ukalele (sp) he tuned it and is already playing it! I told him the only thing I knew about it was Tiny Tim played "Tiptoe Through The Tulips" when I was little! I'll have him post a video when he learns it. He's got a few videos of him playing keyboard & church piano. |
