Many may not know that Beulah Bondi who played Martha Corrne also played Jimmy Stuarts mother in "It's A Wonderful Life" as did Ellen Corby for a brief moment, also actor James Gammon went on to play many film rolls,including one of the best filma ever made,"Cold Mountain". He had such a raspy voice in his films,which you almost can't detect in The Waltons.
