It's possible. I do know that Richard lives in NY, so getting him to commit to it, probably wasn't that hard. also, it depends on their schedules. I'm sure Judy & Kami would have been at the VA one this past weekend, but Kami was busy with School and Judy with singing tours. RYAN-J

I think, too, that the event planners were smart to call it a 40th Reunion....

Well it's the Truth! technically it's not the 40th anniversary of a waltons reunion, but 40th anniversary since 'The homecoming' was released. RYAN-J

Beg your pardon, I'm sure all of the castmembers are smart enough to know exactly what this year's Reunion was without having to have it spelled out for them in that it was the 40th anniversary of The Homecoming and that next year's will be the 40th anniversary for The Waltons. I don't think that using the number of the anniversary as the title of the Reunion really makes a difference; it was probably that the castmembers who did not attend the Fan Club Reunion just could not attend, but were available to attend the NJ one. I for one am grateful that those castmembers who attended the Fan Club Reunion did indeed attend, and I am pretty sure all of the other attendees are just as grateful.
