It seems I had a paperback book that was a Walton story when John-boy has this girl who is hot after him until he makes love to her and after than she is content to purr like a kitten and John-boy has a sunburn on his butt that his dad catches him putting some lotion on in the bathroom.

Another big "virginity" moment, which I don't think has been mentioned, is "The Indiscretion" where Drew invites Elizabeth over to spend the night with him in the house he is minding while the owners are away (the Baldwin place? - I can't rememeber).
