David, I'm not sure why it is not working. Is it possible that your Facebook images are set to private or for friends only? That might prevent it from showing up here. If you want, send me a PM with the url to your photo and I'll check and see if I can view it.

You already have your pic in your profile...so you know how to do that right? To put a pic here, you copy the url of the pic and then click on the picture icon when you have your reply box up.. you'll get this [/img]. You paste the picture url between and
I tried putting an actual photo of myself as my profile picture from my Facebook page but it didn't work.
Be sure you have the complete url in that slot for your profile pic. Some people leave of the http:// and you need that.

I hope everybody had a great Christmas. I know I did. We had a white Christmas in NC. I would estimate we had about 5 or 6 inches of snow.

We actually had a white Christmas here in southern Indiana too. Been a few years. It was just enough to be pretty but not cause much driving problems.

DavidM, try uploading it from your computer rather than from Facebook. Might be FB has some kind of glitch that doesn't let you use their server as a host.

The url above is for the page your photo is on. What you need to do is right click on the photo, then you should see a VIEW IMAGE option, or something to that effect. When you click on VIEW, the url up in the address bar is the correct one for that photo.

I might just say that what I typed above for the url is in the same format that I have my avatar for this forum and my avatar works perfectly.

Davidm I do not know for sure what the problem is but I was able to connect with the facebook link without any difficulty even though I have not had too much experience with facebook , I use it basically to check on the activities of certain friends.

Thanks everyone, it worked. Mind you, I'm $) years younger in this photo. Back when this photo was taken The Beatles had broken up and Diana Ross had left The Supreme, but The Waltons were airing with new episodes. Thanks again.
