Thanks Dagmar!! I'm so glad we decided to tour it, It was so much fun!! ;D Drucilla's pond was located behind the white Church, but like you said, it's pretty much dried up and looked more like a small creek. It was exciting though thinking about Earl going down there to Fish or write and maybe even hunt when he was younger! ;D RYAN J.

Ryan,
I'm into looking at old grave markers, What and where is the cemetary? Does it hold some importance? Like where the Hamner family is buried. Did you travel to Schuyler on your own or did some of the reunion group also go ? I plan on attending next years reunion but I have to go by bus and train because I can,t fly . I also cannot drive. I want to visit there while I am so close. Thankyou for your pictures.

I want to visit there while I am so close. Thankyou for your pictures. The cemetary you see in the photos was just one we happened to be driving by on the way to Schuyler, I'm afraid I can't remember where it was exactly. I do know that the Hamner family cemetary is private and as far as I know the location of that has not been disclosed to anyone outside the hamner family. I traveled with my dad to Schuyler for the walton museum & hamner house tour. We did meet up with some of the group back at 'The Gathering' for lunch then later again at the banquet. It's funny that you mentioned you liked looking at grave markers, as my dad runs a home business engraving head stones and pet memorials!! Hopefully that answered your questions! if you have any more feel free to let me know. RYAN J.

Wow, Ryan! Great pictures! It was just like being there! My daughter and I are discussing the possiblity of going next year. I live in PA so it really isn't all that far but what holds us back each year is the date. My granddaughter's birthday is the 22nd and my grandson is the 25th. The reunion always seems to conicide with one of these dates. Birthdays are very important when you are small! But we'll see...........I so want to go.........to be on an ablsolute Walton weekend must be incredible!
