LOVE your new avatar Ryan and how lucky to get some video with you and 'Ike'! I hope you have a larger version of the avatar picture that you can post here for all of us to see? Thank you Marilyn!! ;D I do indeed have a larger version and will be posting that along with all the other photos I took in the next couple of days, have to go through and resize and edit about 700 photos! A quick update & funny story! My dad and I ended up going to the Hamner house on Sunday and did the tour! ;D I was snapping picture after picture and the tour guide looked at me and and said "you must be a huge walton fan to be taking that many photos". I said "yes" and then out of the blue he asked "Are you RYAN J.??" I was quite surprised as I had never even told him my name and here he already knew who I was! ;D come to found out he browses the forum now and then and saw my previous avatar and put two and two together! Even at the reunion I was surprised how many of you guys remembered me from previous postings and it was so nice. ;D I'll post another update when I get my photos all uploaded and a whole bunch more videos too! RYAN J.

That's too funny Ryan!! This forum is great, it's nice to talk to other people who share such an interest for a great show! How did you enjoy the museum? I've been wanting to go to the museum long before I knew about this forum and the Walton's fan club reunion, so now I'll have to do both at the same time hopefully next year!

Ryan, Iwould appreciate if you could explain all that goes on at a reunion. Should I bring things to be signed ? or do they have them there/ Tell me some of the hidden expenses. I want to arrive prepared.

Yes, it's always a good idea to bring some items to be signed - Photos, DVD covers, books ect. This year Joe Conley was selling his book and he had those available to buy and also some post cards he would sign for free. I brought along my own custom items and he was happy to sign those as well Also a good idea to bring along your own sharpie markers just in case they don't have any on hand. Hidden expensives that we ran into were admission to the museum, but it's only $6.00 a person and well worth it in my opinion. If you become a fan club member you automatically get free admission to the museum. I beleive it's $15.00 a year subscription. Also you need to pay admission to tour the Hamner home as well. That's $5.00 each but more expensive on Sunday ($8.00) We did lunch at 'The Gathering' and they have a donation basket at the front door, the served a lot of food and I'm looking forward to eating their next year! ;D For the banquet, you'll need to pay, but that is explained in the reservation letter Carolyn sends out. tickets cost $55 each this year. They also have an auction where fans can bid on signed items and other walton momentos like Scripts and games. All auction proceeds go towards bringing in the cast members for the next reunion. Hope that helps!! ;D I'm saving my pennies for the 2011 one! RYAN J.

Hey Ryan, I can just tell by the Dagmar's pictures and your posts that you had a great time. It is really neat when you get to do something that you have wanted to do for a long time, isn't it. I look forward to your pictures.
