In Canada both Vision TV (season 2) and CTS (season 1) are carrying The Waltons. It's so nice to see the entire cast together again

my service provider doesn't have INSP...not cool Comcast not cool at all! Buuuuut on the bright side I own about half of the series on DVD just missing the last 3 seasons. So, I won't get the thrill of watching it and seeing the new special, but I'm sure I'll be able to see it eventually.

I've had problems with a few of my dvd's as well, and all I had to do was wipe them off with good with a regular Kleenex, not the kind with lotion.

Charter does not carry INSP on Basic Cable. This is another reason I should leave them for DISH but I keep hearing things that DISH goes out whenever the weather is bad.

I am so excited! I can't wait! I have emailed GMC many times to air the Waltons, but maybe they couldn't get the rights if INSP is going to air them.

I emailed INSP to thank them for bringing the Waltons back to tv. I just received this email back from Terry at INSP along with the episode schedule for the first two weeks. I thought it very nice of them to reply...... "America's favorite family "The Waltons" will return to television on Monday, Oct. 18th at 7:00 p.m. EST for an exclusive reunion special, "A Walton's Family Reunion". The surviving members of the American television classic will journey back to "Walton's Mountain" almost 30 years after the series ended its iconic run. Hosted by Mary McDonough, the reunion special will feature Richard Thomas, Ralph Waite, Michael Learned, Judy Norton, Eric Scott, Jon Walmsley, David Harper, Kami Cotler and series creator Earl Hamner. The veteran cast will reminisce about the series, its impact on American Culture and family life, and what they've been up to since the series ended its original run in 1981. Beginning Monday, Oct 18 on INSP, viewers also can journey back with "The Waltons at 1 p.m. EST and 8 p.m. EST when the series begins its exclusive Monday-Friday run on the network."

Hi.
I do not get the INSP network where I reside and was wondering if anyone could tape for me the Reunion Special that will be airing on the network in October. I would be happy for either a vhs or dvd of the Special. I plan on being at the October Reunion in Lynchburg, VA and would be able to retrieve the recording from whoever could possibly do this for me. I will be very happy to pay for the vhs or dvd of the Reunion Special. If there is anyone who might be able to do this for me but cannot make the Reunion in Lynchburg, VA, I will be very happy to send money to you for the costs mentioned above plus money for mailing it to me.
Thanks.
Michelle

I will be so disappointed if Ike and Cora Beth aren't included in the reunion show. They were a major, HUGE part of the show. They seemed to me, to be the glue, after Grandpa died...and Livy left...
