These are things that if they happened within the series of the Waltons it could have changed the story quite a bit.
Ashley Longworth comes back to marry Miss Emily Baldwin. There wouldn't be nearly as many stories of Miss Emily reminiscing about Ashley.
I would like to hear if any of you could come up with some "What Ifs"?

What if Mary Ellen had married David Spencer? (We could’ve dodged that horrible resurrected Curt storyline)

What if John Boy decided to give up writing all together and never go to New York City and just stay and work at the family mill? What if he stayed home and wrote his stories? |

I just watched the episode where Ben took the picture of Erin in her scandalous shorts and the sensation it caused. I thought what if Ben realized the power of his camera and of the female form. He then went on to create an empire with his magazine featuring similiarly clad (or less) women of the month.
