The Waltons Christmas Album(1974)

I came across this album on Spotify and I was wondering if anyone on here actually owns this album? It is by the Holiday Singers. I thought it was really cool.  Earl Hamner Jr. narrates before each song.

I knew someone would have had the album.    I listened to it on Spotify and it seems really awesome because of the narration.

I have this album, but it is put away for now with the rest of my Waltons collection. We discussed the absence of Jim Bob in another thread several years ago.

I didn't even notice David's absence until I couldn't explain the empty space between Richard and Ralph. A body should have been there, and then I noticed that Jim-Bob wasn't.

It didn't exist back then. Everything had to be done with a scissors and glue and it never turned out well. It would look more like a collage than a photograph.

I was excited to receive this album from my parents shortly after it was released. Unfortunately, the singing is average at best. Sounds like a bad church choir. The narration by Earl and Will is the highlight. David was not fishing when the picture was taken as it says on the back of the jacket. That was made up. He told me that himself. I had this album autographed by Earl, Richard, Ralph, Michael, Jon, Judy, Mary, Eric, David and Kami. Alas, not by Ellen and Will.

Listening to it on Spotify, most definitely the highlight of the album was the narration from Will Geer and Earl Hamner Jr. I imagine having that album signed by all of those cast members including Earl and Ralph who have passed away is something you really love.
