Emmy, I love your profile picture! I've been to a couple of reunions and met several cast members: Earl Hamner Ralph Waite Jon Walmsley (best hugger EVER!) Judy Norton Mary McDonough Eric Scott David Harper Kami Cotler Tom Bower Joe Conley Ronnie Claire Edwards Lynn Hamilton Hal Williams Cissy Wellman David Doremus Tony Becker Richard Hatch Michael McGreevey Deirdre Lenihan Earl was so incredibly lovely and I feel very blessed to have gotten to know him. David Doremus and Tony Becker were both super nice. Everybody was, really. I miss Carolyn so much! Thank You Miss Heather. You have met so many of the cast as well. It is so awesome to hear that the cast is so nice and welcoming. They really seem to love their fans. |

I wonder if a really famous actor that appeared on the Waltons like Sissy Spacek or Jennifer Jason Leigh would ever think about going to one of the Waltons reunions. I know Jennifer Jason Leigh was only in 1 episode I think, but Sissy Spacek was in more than one.
Or maybe Ron Howard coming to a reunion.

I wonder if a really famous actor that appeared on the Waltons like Sissy Spacek or Jennifer Jason Leigh would ever think about going to one of the Waltons reunions. I know Jennifer Jason Leigh was only in 1 episode I think, but Sissy Spacek was in more than one. Or maybe Ron Howard coming to a reunion. That would be exciting, but based on their schedules, could be tricky. Sissy, however, lives nearby -- in Charlottesville, I think. It would be amazing if she ever came. |

I can't really say that I actually met him, but I actually saw him in person when he performed as Atticus Finch in "To Kill A Mockingbird". So in a roundabout way I was present in the same building as Richard Thomas.

I met Jon Walmsley at a Neil Young concert back in the mid 70's at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

I forgot that I also met Tom Bower, and he was very nice. I think the most chatting I was able to do was with Michael Learned and Michael McGreevey. I feel like I also had a chance to chat a bit with Cissy Wellman. I remember her saying how much she loved Robert Donner (her former husband). Did she say Robert Donner(Yancy) liked animals a lot?  Lol -- that didn't come up in the conversation. 😅 |
