Now that I am watching Family Affair, I think Johnny Whitaker would have been perfect as someone of a Waltons cousin to visit.

Mitch played Jamie, the adopted son of Ben Cartwright (Lorne Greene) on Bonanza.

Sean Marshall is another red head from an old musical movie I love that stars him, Helen Reddy and Mickey Rooney. It is Pete's Dragon. He played Pete. He was an adorable little kid. He would have been a great friend to Elizabeth as he is the same age as Kami. He now looks like he would have to be cast as someone who Mary Ellen would go to up do some Nursing on in the mountains. Here he is back in 1977 as Pete in Pete's Dragon.  And here is a more recent photo of him.  |

I may be wrong , but I do not recall ever seeing or hearing about Olivia's parents throughout the entire series of the Waltons. Please correct me if I am wrong about that. Who do you think would have been a good actor and actress for that role? I the actors would have had to of been in the same age range as Will Geer and Ellen Corby.
