Yeah, you do get less students and sickness. My school has lots and lots of kids, I don't even count. I thought you were home schooled Ella? I am. I only go their for one special class.

I haven't even been doing this online school for a complete week yet, but there are definitely things I see about it that I like a lot. It is a lot easier. That may or may not be that great because I do like to be challenged, but I have been starting my school work when my regular public school would start and I get finished with the online work at around 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. everyday so far. All I really have to do in the evening is read for a little bit. If something seems tough I can go back and listen to the lesson over again. I can work at my own pace which means I finish a lot quicker. I can do school in my PJ's and even laying on my bed. The worst part is not seeing my friends and not being in Chorus class anymore.

That would be so awesome if I do stay with the online school and I still get to be in a chorus.

My school had it online but I don't know about yours maybe look up your school's name and then chorus with it.

I attended the school for the 6th and most of the 7th grade and both years were in the chorus. In my 6th grade year in 2021 they did have an option where students could learn virtually online, but I don't think that included chorus because none of the students in my class were online students. This year before I left I know there wasn't anything like that at my school. I will have my mom look into it though.

I Googled this and was surprised to see there was a big difference between the 1930's and 1940's.
What was the attendance policy in schools in the 1930s? Students often did not attend school for nine months of the year as they do in today's schools, as different county or local school systems often operated for different lengths of time. Most students during this time period also did not attend kindergarten or 12th grade.
What was happening in education in America during the 1940s? American education was transformed in the 1940s. At all levels it became better organized, better funded, and more standardized across the country. Universities were modernized. In subjects such as literature, history, and the arts, the college curriculum was made more professional and was more carefully thought out.
