animal lovers. I have been following this organization for a couple of months. I have not seen anything wrong with them. Are you aware of this place? It seems like they do good work. I do not have a horse right now, but I am thinking of donating to them. If you know of any reason why they should not be supported, please say so. If you like learning about horse doctoring, it is a very interesting group. www.facebook.com/horsehumanewww.youtube.com/c/horsehumane

I have never heard of them, which is certainly not an indictment. But when it comes to animal welfare organizations I will only donate to local groups where I can see and know how my money is being spent. I don't support animal rights extremists, who ultimately seek to end ALL human/animal interaction, including pet ownership. I do support animal welfare. So those are the types of things I would look into, with strong preference given to local rescues.

I got halfway through the video, and it does look like a good group. If I lived nearby, I'd volunteer there. Sadly making horse slaughter illegal in the U.S. only made things worse for these poor animals, who get shipped, under the most abominable conditions,to Mexico to face a brutal death. It's why I aim to never let a horse leave my property once I take him or her in.
