^ Here's Ellen as Ms. Davis in It's a Wonderful Life. It's not just her eyes. Look at her eyebrows. Same arch.
A bit of movie trivia. Originally, Ellen was supposed to ask for a 'rounded' amount of money ($25 I believe) as per the script. That's how the scene was rehearsed. However just before the scene was shot, director Frank Capra took Ellen aside and told her to as for twenty-five dollars and some change (50 cents?) because it would be funnier.
She asked for the amount Frank had told her and Jimmy Stewart was so surprised and amused that he ad libbed the across-the-counter kiss. The first take ended up in the film.

I just did a reverse image search, and this is not Ellen Corby. She is an actress called Gloria Grahame. She did appear in a movie with Ellen Corby, A Woman’s Secret. Here is a link to her photo gallery at IMBD. This photo appears in the photo gallery along with many more. Gloria Grahame photo galleryEdited to add: Gloria Grahame also appeared in It’s a Wonderful Life.

^ Well, there you go. I applaud you. I don't know how to do a reverse image search.
I remember her now from IAWL, but I had to Google her name. She played Violet.
It's amazing how closely Gloria and Ellen resembled each other. The eyes lied to me this time.

Referring to the photo wacokyd asked about: I am almost positive it is a photo of Academy Award winning actress: Gloria Grahame who played the “loose” woman on ”It’s A Wonderful Life.” She decides to leave Bedford Falls and George Bailey (Jimmy Stewart) gives her money to start over. When everyone is giving George money at the end of the show,in the final scene, she adds the money to the growing pile and says, “I decided not to go, George.” It reminds me of a stock photo released by a publicist, the studio or Gloria herself. I am drawing a blank on the character’s name: I think it is something like Viola or ViEllen.

I think her name in the movie was Violet Bick.

I remember Gloria Grahame from the musical film Oklahoma! -- and that was almost a decade later. She was the gal who can't say no.

Below is a photo of a Bing site "Images of Ellen Corby". The picture caption says "Ellen Corby". However, below also is a shot of Gloria Graham. Notice the dress looks familiar. Somebody is not telling the truth. I think I know who.
