Actually it was Richard Widmark and Lucy was stealing a grapefruit. William Holden was in in the Brown Derby/ fake nose episode.

Dont apologize his version of "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" was MY absolute favorite TORture to my ex husband. He hated it lol. Sorry I hijacked your post, flossieskid, at my age I have to say when I think something or it's gone until something reminds me again

A thought about the mother and child trying to go 'over the wall'. Does anyone remember whose wall Ethel helped Lucy to climb over so she could steal oranges? I keep thinking it's Jack Benny for some reason. "Oh, Rochester..." Was it Cornell Wilde's house? It wasn't Jack Benny's. That was such a funny episode. I felt about ILL the exact opposite I feel about the Waltons. With the Waltons, my favorite seasons are the first five. With Lucy, I loved the last few years much more than the first. I wish there had been more Connecticut episodes.

Thank you to Molly for setting us straight -- it WAS Richard Widmark. 😁 flossieskid Tracey, those are great stories. I was confused at first thinking Michael was talking to his wife -- forgetting you are also Tracey. I'm a little surprised that Michael wasn't more "ensconced" in a super private setting with lots of property, high gates and security. Maybe that's just my personal preference coming out. If I had the means, I'd be sitting in the middle of 250 very private acres. 😄😁
