Has anyone started watching this series? I actually think it started back in 2016 - but I just now stumbled upon it. They are in Season 5 now. It's on the Hallmark channel.
It has a Walton's like appeal to me. A large family - 3 daughters, and 2 sons - father, mother, and grandmother. Most living under the same roof. Very family friendly content. A lot of family time around the dinner table, and all of the family members with their own drama to work through. So far I really like it.
Treat Williams plays the patriarch father.
I'm going back now and watching Seasons 1 thru 4... to try and get caught up.

You may have seen this in the news this week. Treat Williams was killed in a motorcycle accident this week.
I loved his character in the Chesapeake Shores series.
It seems a car didn’t see the motorcycle and crossed over into his lane. An accident similar to the way James Dean died in 1955.
A great loss to the acting world and to his family and friends.

I absolutely loved Treat Williams. When I heard about his passing I was devastated. The last season of Chesapeake Shores just recently ended and I was looking forward to seeing him in new movies/series. He will definitely be missed.

I found it on Netflix out here in Australia a few years ago. I love it. It was so sad to hear of Treat Williams's accident. I have watched him in many things over the years and have loved all of them...from Everwood to Chesapeake Shores to Blue Bloods. He seems to have been drawn to a lot of family types of shows. He will be missed.
