I changed my Avatar today to honor Peggy Rea, who played Cousin Rose in seasons 8-9 and "A Waltons Thanksgiving Reunion." She had a long and successful career, and it was great fun to meet her and sit at her table at the CA reunion in 2004.
There was a virtual "Little House on the Prairie" reunion today, and Hersha Parady, Charlotte Stewart, Radames Pera and David Friedman talked about being a part of "The Waltons" as well as LHOTP!!

I forget what Hersha did on The Waltons. Is there a recording of the LHOTP reunion?

^ Hesha played Victoria Madden, Nancy's mother who ran away from Eustace when Nancy was a baby. Ben drove Nancy to a hotel in Charlottesville so Nancy and Victoria could meet in the third season episode 'The Lie'.

Part of the recent "Little House" reunion were virtual chats. I splurged and did three, including David Friedman, who played John Curtis in the 1980s reunion movies. He said he had memories of doing the movies, but did not elaborate. I also chatted with Radames Pera, who played Paul Mann in "The Ceremony." (Will's daughter Ellen Geer played Paul's mother.) He told me that he was very pleased to do an episode of "The Waltons," especially one that dealt with the important theme of religious tolerance. The director, Vincent Sherman, who directed many Hollywood movies in the 1940s and 1950s, said that his favorite directing work of all time was "The Ceremony." Radames told me this. Wow, that is quite a tribute to "The Waltons." Radames and I have something in common. His wife is French, and he moved to France to live in her country. My wife is Ecuadorian, and we live in Ecuador. Lastly, I chatted with Charlotte Stewart, who appeared in the first "Waltons" episode, "The Foundling." She said that the cast was wonderful to her, and she always enjoys seeing them at fan events. She is proud that she portrayed Ruth, the mother of the deaf girl in what ended up being the pilot episode, even though it was not originally supposed to be the first segment. Okay, that's my brush with fame from yesterday afternoon. It was great FUN! Hope all of you are well. Stay safe, everyone!

So you managed to turn a LHOP reunion into a Waltons one. 😁
