The cast of the iconic ’70s drama series “The Waltons” will reunite in an upcoming episode of “Stars in the House.” Hosts Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley will welcome Mary Beth McDonough, Eric Scott, Kami Cotler, Judy Norton, Michael Learned and Richard Thomas to reflect on their time on the series. The episode will launch Jan. 7 on the livestream series’ YouTube channel. Donations from this episode will go toward The Actors Fund.

The time is 8 pm, just like "The Waltons" during its original run. COOL!

I thought it was very nice and lasted almost 2 hours. The cast obviously cares very deeply about each other and enjoys connecting with each other and their fans. For some reason Mary McDonough did not appear. Not sure what happened.

I missed the live version. I saw all but the last 30 minutes on the recording -- I hope to get back to it. It felt like a very intimate chat with a bunch of old friends and I was just listening in. I did enjoy it.
Although I felt bad for Richard because the PA who joined them shared 2 less than flattering stories about him. I really wasn't sure about what the purpose of that was. I could see maybe sharing ONE of them and teasing him about it but to share two, with no nicer stories to balance it out seemed rather mean.

Just curious, what was wrong with it? It just didn't grab me. It might have been the two strangers that were part of it.
I have no problem watching Judy or Kami on their Youtbube videos.

For some reason Mary McDonough did not appear. Not sure what happened. I enjoyed the reunion too. I liked that the cast reminisced about the past and shared behind the scenes memories. I also liked that they talked about the show's relevance and popularity in the present -- why people are tuning in now during these tough, complicated times. However, I wish they would've talked a little bit about the show's future -- any upcoming reboot or retrospective to celebrate the show's 50th anniversary?
