Thanks for the heads up! I think the only reunion movie I saw was the Thanksgiving Reunion. I set the dvr to tape them all.
Looking forward to finally seeing them!

I’m watching now... loved seeing the “decade of the Waltons” before this. So strange with the “conversations” between the actors and their real life counterparts.
I also really liked seeing earl hamner walk through the sets and deliver all the sentimental pastoral stuff I love so much about the show. And those cool 80s sunglasses and jacket lol.

Never seen any of these movies... the wedding one is on now, Ashley Longworth just showed up to break up erins wedding, the most striking thing about this to me is how much this actor pales in comparison to Jonathan frakes as him in the series... he’s not dashing, kind of a dead personality for what the character should be.. erin’s lumberjack guy feels much more substantial, I want to root for Ashley but how can I with this actor..smh...

Last night I watched A Decade of the Waltons and A Wedding on Walton's Mountain.
My thoughts...
A Decade of the Waltons - Thumbs Up
I enjoyed this but did fast forward through some of the flashback scenes. I've seem them all before, lol. Wish there would have been more of the content with Earl and his real family. It was nice to put a face to the real people.
A Wedding on Walton's Mountain - Fairly big Thumbs Down
Too much conflict and drama between the siblings and other characters. Couldn't stand the Ashley Longworth storyline. Almost stopped watching the moment Ashley came on the porch toward the beginning of the movie. Paul should have punched him out that first meeting instead of waiting til the end.
Very annoyed with Erin's storyline and being so willing to spend time with Ashley. Uh, you married another woman while we were engaged? Get off my porch and off my property. She should have punched him if Paul wasn't ready to do it. Erin is too smart to be so conflicted.
The only enjoyable parts were seeing Ralph Waite and the fun banter between Mary Ellen and Jonesy.
Not sure when I'll get to the other movies but hopefully soon.

Although nice to see the Walton family again, "A Wedding on Walton's Mountain" is melodrama at its worst. Jonathan Frakes was wise to sit this one out! The actor who plays Ashley seems to be comatose!!!
