I said barely any. I didn't say it had none !!!! The ones you pointed out I was already well aware of. I have been watching it for 48 years !!!!
Most of those were minor faults that didn't affect the story lines and as it was a light hearted show verging on comedy they really didn't matter. The show still got the laughs and is still showing on terrestrial TV in UK 48 years later. 7 days a week

I personally love all the seasons. It does annoy me about the inconsistencies and time problems but I can usually look past them seasons 1-5 were magical. 6-7 were just as good but had a different feel to them because John Boy was gone, but I loved that they developed a lot of other characters and spent more time focusing on the siblings. I loved 8-9 as well and I do admit that there were weaker epsiodes but I still adored some, like the season 9 episode where Cindy finds out she's adopted. The movies are amazing and I love to sit back and watch them when I'm bored. Over all The Waltons is the best show I have ever watched. Never before have I connected with the characters and their world, stories and lives. This show means so much to me and I will love it until I die. ❤️ (I am so sorry if I am repetitive or I sound immature or overdramatic in this post 😅❤️)

They are so lovely and you would really enjoy it.

I think Wightman did an excellent portrayal of John-Boy. Before Thomas left the show, his behaviors had become somewhat abrasive. Wightman portrayed more of what I would expect from a Walton. True, he was quiet, however, his character had been through a lot. I really feel bad that the show didn’t even put his name in the credits. I often wonder if he felt disrespected and perhaps that’s why no one has seen him at any reunions.
My wish is that even though he played the part years ago and is much older now he would create a website or something so that fans can communicate with him and he can hear the positive feelings they felt with his acting. The show itself has gotten so much publicity but does not include him and that makes me feel bad. I know how that feels and being able to relate to it gives me a good idea as to how this made him feel.

I think it was Loren Greene who once said that "no television series should last more than five seasons". Which is supremely ironic given how long Bonanza lasted (14 seasons IIRC). And I've seen other television producers say that most television series reach their highest quality in the 3rd season.
The point being that it is all but impossible to stay good creatively after 7 or 8 years.
