I am in contact with her. She is fine. She has been busy with her daughter’s high school graduation. Also, her mother is ill and she has been trying to help her out. I’ll let her know you asked about her.

Hello all! My momma found out in October 2018 that she had colon cancer. In November 2018, she had 30% of her colon removed. In February 2019, she had a cancerous ovary removed. Just before that, in early February 2019, forum member Gordon passed away. That hit me really hard. He & I were talking about pomegranate juice at that time. Now when I see/hear anything to do with pomegranates, juicers or Generac generators I think of him as these were some of the last things he mentioned here on the forum. I had to take time away from the forum as his death & my momma's cancer diagnosis really got to me. I didn't mean to be off the forum nearly 2 years later. I took my momma to her treatments through 2019 & we thought she was cancer free. In early 2020, we found out it had metastasized in other parts of her body. Covid-19 hit the world & the whole country was staying at home. I continued to take her for cancer treatments. You could only get carry out at restaurants so we would do that after a treatment & I knew of a picnic table that we would go eat our takeout at (she enjoyed that). I have been mowing her yard, doing housework, her laundry, cooking for her, taking her to run errands, etc. all while maintaining my household/Mr. Forever & my foreverettes. I don't put anything pertaining to my momma off. We passed cotton fields on our way to the cancer center, she talked about picking cotton growing up. She said she would like to have some cotton. On our way home, I stopped at one of the cotton fields & I told her to go get her some cotton (she did). We take the backroads that we haven't been on in years. All she has to do is mention something she wants or needs done (a new mailbox put up, lightbulb changed, her pecans picked up, driveway pressure washed, flowerbeds cleaned out, etc. & boom!, Mr. Forever or I will do it for her. I still take her for treatments (which takes 5 to 8 hours). According to her doctor, her treatments will be ongoing until the end of her life. My daddy died of cancer in 2008. She's my precious momma & I love her dearly. I want to be there for her in any way I can be. Thankfully, she lives within walking distance from my house. It's nice to know that I have been missed. I have missed y'all too. I am going to try to be on the forum again as I have missed being on here. If you believe in prayer, please pray for my momma. It would be most appreciated.
