Speaking of Sanford & Sons, what did Verdie (Lynn Hamilton) look like on this show? She was performing on Sanford & Sons concurrently to her tenure on The Waltons. She portrayed the landlady and Fred's girl friend, Donna Harris
I forgot how hilarious Redd Foxx was on that show. I am falling out of my chair watching this clip.

It was one of his favorite shows. I mentioned that to Lynn Hamilton once when I met her at a reunion, and I asked her if she enjoyed working on that show. She sort of laughed and said, “ It’s not the work I’m proudest of.”
