In Atkins, I don't see where he mentions Liv's maiden name is Daly... but, her mother's younger sister (Aunt Kate) uses the last name Daly -- do we assume she never married? I'm afraid I'm getting a little dizzy trying to track this down ! Far left column on the “Family” page of the Atkins site: Olivia ‘Liv’ Walton (Daly maiden name) MotherGood grief -- I'd meticulously read everything in the right column, and completely neglected the simpler left column !! FYI -- I wish Atkins had spelled Frances correctly throughout....

Here in Ecuador married women are required to use their maiden name on all official documents, identification cards, etc. And they use the father's and mother's last names, so if they want to tack the husband's last name on the end, "de" (of) is used. This is pretty typical of Latin America. My wife's full name is Ruth Marisol Bedoya Palacios de Farnsworth!
