The Baldwin sisters: What about Mama?

The Baldwin sisters almost always mentioned their dear Papa, Judge Baldwin, but I don't recall hearing any mention of their mother. Was this just an oversight by the producers and writers? Let's have some good-natured fun and venture a few guesses as to what she was like, what happened to her, etc., SUCH AS:

She was a hardshell Baptist who couldn't abide the Recipe being made in her home and divorced the Judge, creating a scandal the Baldwin sisters dealt with by not ever mentioning her in public. Maybe not.

They did mentioned about their mother on Season 3 "The Statue" where Grandpa Walton won the prize of the statue.

I remember the episode but don't recall what was said about Mrs. Baldwin. What was mentioned about her?

Talking abut the statue the Baldwin sisters said, (something like) "we must confess that our dear late mother never cared for the statue, and she's been hidden away all these years..."

This obviously proves that she died. I always assumed that she might have died when the Baldwin sisters were still quite young.

Unfortunately their late Mother did not care for the statute, and it’s been in storage for so long, so Zeb graciously accepts the prize, saying it is extraordinary.

Could it be that Grandma had the right idea and grandpa had a tendency to get overflirtatious at times---
maybe Mozelle Lewis was a real trollope!

I never thought of this before, but you're right....they don't talk about their mother. Hmmm....
