was watching The Search just now, and during a commercial I decided to set some more episodes to watch this weekend. came up "no The Walton's found". a quick check to the channel guide, and what was INSP on Dish, is now listed as Great. Well not so Great....nothing but infomercials and make up shows. Hallmark dropped The Waltons a while ago, now Dish dropped INSP. I don't know if I missed the memo, or they just took it upon themselves. Dish is making cable look better and better.

Yes, Dish just dropped the network. dont know why. The INSP is free, no cost to cable/satellite providers, so they don't have the excuse that they sometimes use, that they are trying to 'protect' the viewers from higher rates. as Reckless would say, 'Grrrrrrr!'

just got off the phone with Dish a little while ago, usual reason...INSP tripled their charge, so they dropped them. got a whole story about how over charger Dish is by the providers, and how expensive HD TV is. I said, almost all of what I watch is from the '30s to the early '70s, so nothing is in HD, so I don't need it. and suggested they drop the 300 channels no one watches anyhow.

You should have called them out on their lie. INSP is free to cable/ satellite providers.

oh I did...I told them that INSP is free to providers. the woman totally skirted the issue. Dish has been on a campaign to drop RFD-TV, now INSP.

Yes, but INSP is calling it a "temporary contract extension," so we are not out of the woods yet.

and when I was sending Dish e mails about this, they told me they would discount my bill by $5 for three months. they backed out of that two.

HI Dave I just wrote a post on this as on my cable INSP has been replaced by a Spanish religious station and Hallmark and UP no longer carry it. Fortunately I have the DVDS or no Waltons on tv for a while Hope they're back soon when people complain
