In the American tradition of Thanksgiving we at Dr Pepper (ForeverWalton's house) pause to give thanks to you and yours and to wish you the very best holiday greetings and a happy new year.
Thanksgiving is an uniquely American festival commemorating the gratitude of a handful of pioneers who were thankful for little more than bare survival. May we - in our abundance - pause at this season to give thanks for all we have; peace, prosperity, health, and the friendship of good people like you.

Happy Thanksgiving from both of us to all on the forum! We have so many blessings in our family to give thanks for this year. We will begin by attending Thanksgiving Eve services at our church tonight followed by celebrating with our family tomorrow. May you all have a most joyous time together with your families.

Happy Thanksgiving, from my gang to yours! My youngest son has already gone to bed. I'll have to show him this tomorrow. In the last month he has gone "Peanuts" c-r-a-z-y!! His favorites are Franklin and Snoopy. He has asked for 'Franklin' stuff for Christmas. It's hard to find but Santa did manage to get a stuffed Franklin, a Franklin tin canister and a set of peanuts play figures that has a Franklin in it. Franklin is in this picture. That will make him smile.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! This time of year I am reminded of one of the episodes of the Tonight Show by the great Johnny Carson. Johnny often read letters from school kids. This one particular night he read a letter from a young boy whose assignment was "Write a letter to Tom Turkey." The young boy wrote,
" Dear Tom,
Please come to my house for dinner Thursday night. I can't tell you what's for dinner. It's a surprise! Love, Joseph"
Moral of the story: If you are a turkey, beware all dinner invitations in November.

Blessings to all of you at Thanksgiving and always. We watched "The Thanksgiving Story" from season 2 tonight, and our kids really enjoyed it. I hadn't remembered that Rance Howard (Ron's father) and Kym Karath (Gretl from "The Sound of Music") were in it. Also, Sian Barbara Allen as Jenny was born in my hometown of Reading, PA. Small world. If any of you ever get over here, please look us up in Ecuador.
