What about having dinner with friends and chatting until the place closes and they turn out the lights in the parking lot? Oh YES!!!!! Wasn't that fun??!! It was the perfect night to eat outside. It was like a mini vacation. They probably thought we would never leave!! We were the last ones to leave the restaurant and then we stood talking in the parking lot as the waiters got in their cars. Then they turned out the parking lot lights! The NERVE of them!

Playing the piano gives me great pleasure. However - I'm not too sure if my listeners would agree!

I'm sure your piano playing is delightful to listen to clyde. Would love to hear you play the piano and harp someday.

Love love love to take the dogs for a hike, whether in a field or through the woods, we even hike in the rain. Love rainy days at home, cooking, training my dogs, sitting by the fire on a cold snowy winter day. I too will light candles or lanterns instead for lights, mostly in the winter, summer is way to hot. Going fishing or just sitting and watch the sheep, ducks and chickens run around. Oh I forgot to add playing in my veggie garden and enjoying all the goodies Aaaaaaa feel better just talking about it.

I am so glad we moved to a small town...well village actually. No fast food chains and folks still say well wishes to strangers We walk a lot and have beautiful trails around. When I go by myself I often sing but then I sing everywhere...only wish my voice was better...lol
Growing up we went for Sunday aftenoon drives and sang all the old songs...Old Suzanna, She'll be coming round the mtn., Clementine etc. We also played a lot of card games, which I want to start doing again when I have a house with a table....lol

As I have told you before patriciaanne, I think you're lucky that your parents got you a guitar. I sooo wanted to take guitar lessons growing up but no my momma signed me up for piano lessons. I have two Dr Pepper acoustic guitars and one electric Dr Pepper guitar but I don't know how to play. I had a friend of mine play the electric one for me and it sounded good!
For my birthday this year Mr. Forever got me one of the acoustic guitars and some kind of contraption that you put on the neck of the guitar in order to tune it...but I still don't know how to play. LOL! Maybe someday...

I played for a few years but don't play it anymore. Hard to play guitar when you can't sing. We went to see a friend's band a couple of weeks ago and there was a harmonica. I said to my honey that I should learn how to play it. Why, he said. "So there will be no chance of me singing along." He thought it was a good idea.

I used to love going for a walk but I need a double knee replacement so there hasn't been much walking in awhile. I enjoy crocheting. I enjoy my garden. I enjoy hearing a summer rain on the roof. I love to catch a beautiful sunrise or sunset. I enjoy driving around and taking in all the beauty where I live. I take back roads as much as possible. At certain times of the year it is particularly beautiful and I often say I feel like I'm driving through a painting. I love going for walks, esp. I can't do much. I can only go for short one tho' for now. I enjoy the beautiful landscapes in the neighbourhood. Too bad winter's coming, won't be able to do it much longer but the fall colour is wonderful! Our kitchen is facing SW, so we can enjoy the beautiful, magnificent sunset almost everyday!! What a treat!
