True. However, no matter who the actor was, the scene is rather important to the old woman's characterization. Certainly they could have found 20 seconds of irrelevant subplot elsewhere to snip!

At least the Waltons DVDs are not edited as they did with the original DVD release of "Little House on the Prairie." They are in the process of rereleasing LHOTP in unedited versions. I didn't know they would edit a DVD!!!

I've got a couple movies on VHS or DVD, that are butchered so bad they look like TV Land aired them.
