I just finished watching the first episode, The Foundling, on INSP. It doesn't matter how many times I've seen it, I still love it.

Hi Rebeccalee. My name is Cindy and I am a Waltons Addict. I have been watching them a lot on both Insp and the Hallmark channel. Sometimes I watch them up to 5 times a day! I need an intervention?

I haven't been able to watch very many eps since we got home from vacay . Now that the Stanley Cup finals are over ( and my Blackhawks won) I can watch a few eps. LOL!!!

My Walton addiction did not manifest itself until I bought the DVDs. I have since become an incurable binge Waltoner. I will go months without watching an episode. I will then start with The Homecoming and watch virtually nothing else until I finish the whole decade or so of episodes! No hope, I know. Who cares?

Who cares? We care. We are some of the biggest hypocrites and enablers you will ever find. We lie, cheat and steal to feed our addictions. We will go to service on a Sunday repenting of our sin, but sure as 1+1 is three, we will be popping that DVD right back into the player and be strung out all Sunday afternoon flaunting in our stupor (not sure I can use flaunting in this manner, but it sounds good), screaming at the kids to shut up so we can hear the show for the 23 rd time. Come and join us. Your troubles (and your money) will just float away while you do nothing but pretend you live on Walton's Mountain and believe that there really is a place at the table for you. Don't worry, your kids are old enough to fend for themselves and being a helicopter parent is overrated anyways. . Let them get themselves off to school. The ten mile walk will be good for them. There is no such thing as CPS, trust me. We care, we really really do. Dowsee, pass that DVD around one more time....

Indeed. Like gambling addiction, one always knows the next roll will be the lucky one.
This time through the DVDs, Grandma will not have a stroke, Grandpa will outlive the Baldwins, John Walton will build that honeymoon house, Olivia will stay home and deal with common colds instead of polio, TB, and the rest, John-Boy will hate New York, Jason will become John Williams not Hank Williams, Mary Ellen will work with doctors but, not date them, Erin will graduate at the top of her class, Ben will grow a little faster and marry Cindy on December 7, 1941 , Jim-Bob will get his eyes checked earlier and become Chuck Yeager, and Elizabeth will continue to be cute and beautiful but, a little more edgy.
Here we go.....

I'll join the WA meeting. I start rewarding it again. Cause, I didn't finish Season 3. I'm going skip the Child. I can't stand that episode or The Changeling. Once, I get to those Seasons.
