The whole video is full of great television stars of the past, but go to 1:50 to see a mustache'd Richard Thomas dancing to The Waltons theme at the 1986 Emmy Awards.

Awww! 1986, I was just starting out life as a young bride and with endless possibilities before me. Where does the time go? Thanks for posting this video - wonderful to see some stars from the past that faded away, some that are still in the business and sadly ones that have passed away.

Glad you enjoyed it! It's a shame we can't go back and watch these classic award celebrations and enjoy actors who have passed away or simply faded into the darkness... or to see young actors who now have created places for themselves in entertainment history.

I got on youtube and typed in The 1986 Emmy Awards, and in the opening segment there was a clip of The Waltons saying their goodnights. The closing segment was also good.I really liked all those segments especially the stars and the theme songs to their shows.I really liked Richard Thomas dancing to The Waltons Theme.

Those who could dance did. Those who could not dance did not.

That was rather good. I was afraid that he was going to tap dance or something like that! Nobody overstayed his or her welcome.

Even the 'stache can't make him un-adorable. Thanks for sharing!
