This is how alot of men are and some people don't know how to take it or just can't handle it. I've worked with men all my life so am used to it and actually like it. Sounds to me like Chris might have been joking and this kind of joke between two men would be understood by them. I agree with you, Marilyn. I don't have a problem with it either. I am also equally comfortable with men and women and never have a problem being the only woman in a situation. I took a self defense class on Sunday and was the only female in the group. Tough-talking, extremely direct people are fine, as long as they can receive responses in kind (which I am more than capable of delivering). Christie is much better than the crook--Jon Corzine--that he replaced. The beauty of working with men is that you can relax and be yourself. They don't waste their energy getting offended or over-thinking things. It just feels good having a thick skin. Kudos on taking self-defense patriciaanne!!

And that cows usually freshen (give birth and start lactating) every few years to make the cows give a lot of milk. Calves usually only nurse from their mothers for a few days. Then are separated from their mothers (sorry Bullet). Then the regular milk comes in which is what the family will use until the cow goes dry. Thank goodness I don't have to worry about that. I drink almond milk. Okay Dowsee, I can just hear you asking, "And just how do you milk an almond?!" Don't know, don't care!! Just glad someone came up with the process!!! I drink almond, coconut, and soy.... And cow's milk! It's all good!

Chris Christie is a little too rough, loud, and rude for me. A short while ago, he said about Ed Rendal (who used to be the mayor of Philadelphia), "Tell him (Ed) I knew him when he was somebody." My mother always said, "what goes around comes around." One day soon someone might be saying that about Christy! This is how alot of men are and some people don't know how to take it or just can't handle it. I've worked with men all my life so am used to it and actually like it. Sounds to me like Chris might have been joking and this kind of joke between two men would be understood by them. A lot of men are big jokers and you are right, some women don't get that. But, a lot a men are just downright pompus and mean. Ask Ed Rendal what he thinks of the comment. I think he will have a lot to say on the subject.

If Ed Rendal gets his feelings hurt that easily, he certainly picked the wrong career!

Politics are not for the faint of heart or thin-skinned.

These days, there's almost nothing available for the faint of heart...my job included. ::::sigh::::::

Lol...I would not do well with that whole dealing with the public thing. I would be a You Tube star my first week (and NOT in a good way!)
