I have seen the live-action Cinderella twice. The second time I saw it, I realized that the stepmother reminds me so much of Corabeth - cold, cruel and bitter. When Cinderella stands up to her and, in a manner of speaking, tells her off, I thought to myself, If only someone had had the courage to stand up to Corabeth like that.

Jim Bob did. (In The Tailspin) But the end of that episode showed a quite different Corabeth, as she was usually a one dimensional, unlikeable person. She said some very kind words to Jim Bob;,her mention of the albatross teared me up a bit (the big bird taking forever to take off but when it finally did it could soar indefinitely)

I know, it's one of my favorite episodes! I adore that scene at the end when he changes her tire... so touching. (but he DID still tell her off when he thought she was butting in!) LOL!
