Who did you like of the guys that Erin went out with?Chad,G.W,Hank,Ashley or Paul.I like Ashley even though he sent her a Dear Jane letter, and did not like him in the movie where she and Paul married.I also liked Hank.I did not pick Paul because Erin and Paul were having problems even before they got married.I just now thought of this, with all the problems they had, maybe their was doomed from the start. .

I wish G.W. had lived. He would have been the best husband for Erin.

I always wondered at the end of the episode, "The Celebration" where the Waltons are celebrating paying off their mortgage and Rev Buchanan shows up with Marsha Woolery to the deed burning party...why the writers had Erin make the comment to Mary Ellen about how she knew Rev. Buchanan wasn't going to marry Marsha, and when Mary Ellen asked who was going to marry him, Erin replied, "Me" (she was wearing her sailor dress at the party). I wonder why they didn't carry on with that story line. That was a crazy way to end the show and never to hear about it again. I know the two of them remained friends---he kept her secret about working for the man who's wife had died (she was taking care of his children while he worked)--the 2 part episode when John Boy returns to Walton's Mountain from NY and has the idea to get the mine opened back up to provide work for the community...but I don't believe they were ever shown in a romantic light again. I would've liked to have seen the two of them together.

Only a woman would say "G.W."...
She would have run him over. Can you say ,"Door Mat". THE WALTON WOMEN WERE NO GOOD FOR HIM.
Chad would have kept her in place...Maybe.

Don't blame the walton women for GW being a doormat. That is on GW. That is like a someone saying "They won't let me be the leader". Leaders lead without permission Why do you feel that women need to be kept in a place? Why can't we just be free and have the whole world as our place? Big fat slobbery kiss to you Awe

I think she would have been a good preachers wife, if she chose to marry Hank. I just don't see it though. I feel like in a way, Erin needed someone to challenge her, kind of like the way Curt challenged Mary Ellen.

I have never said that I wanted Erin with anyone. In fact, I don't think Erin has the temperament for a relationship with anyone. I have to say G.W cause I don't know what his name is. Do you? I know his last name is Haines. Maybe GW stands for George Washington. Alpha Male Do you think John S.R. was an alpha male?

I like GW. Never understood the short courtship of Hank. They never explored that relationship in my opinion.
