Have been watching the episodes recently where Stanley Perkins has featured and have noticed that in these episodes the makeup dept really seem to go overboard on Rose's face. In between these eps Rose wears a minimum of makeup yet as soon as the script calls for Stanley Perkins to make an appearance Rose is sporting full makeup, dyed hair, pencilled-in eyebrows, rouge, lipstick, the lot!I am wondering why this was done in such an obvious manner....was the idea to present Rose as desirable?

When you write a love story for a full figured woman, it's a challenge to get some viewers on board with it. I remember when Mike and Molly first aired. Some shallow-minded viewers were offended!

To be honest, I hadn't really noticed her makeup. However, I was disappointed when she disappeared from the series and did not appear in the final episodes. I missed her character.
