Does anyone know where I can find a pattern for Grandma's apron? I adore aprons and would love to have a full one like Grandma wears!

Aw, man! Looks like no one has a pattern. I guess I am not making the apron any time soon!

You might have to create a pattern yourself. Or you could google old sewing patterns or old apron patterns and something may come up. Good luck!

I love that simple one that Grandma wears in the early episodes. Similar to what you show in the picture. So pretty!

I LOVE bib aprons and wear them all the time. I especially love the classic-looking ones and am always on the outlook for another cute one. I have a book called "The Apron Book" by Ellyn Anne Geisel. It has a pattern in the back for a bib apron but it is no where as cute as the one Rebecca Lee showed. I love that apron, Rebecca Lee! Kathy Lee, I'll post a picture of the cover of the book I have. If you don't find a pattern you like you might want to see if your library has this book. It has some darling aprons in it, some with the dimensions for making a few of the aprons, plus the actual bib apron pattern in the back, as I mentioned.

Aw, man! Looks like no one has a pattern. I guess I am not making the apron any time soon! Here is a picture of what the apron actually looks like, Kathy Lee. It's in a little folder in the back of my apron book. I still like Rebecca Lee's apron better because it's all ruffly and pretty looking but thought I would show you what this one looks like. It's a pretty basic bib apron. Darn....This picture is going on sideway and I don't know why! You will have to crane your neck to look at it. LOL!!

Look at this Pinterest site. Has Grandma in her apron! This person must love the Waltons! She has many pictures of the Waltons pinned at her site.

I have been looking on the Internet and it seems that Grandma's apron is called a pinafore apron. Most of what I have seen on the Internet are fancy, ruffled aprons. I like the plain aprons that Grandma wears.
