With a scare of sorts with my Mom having to go to the ER (she's doing better and is home), plus a sister needing surgery on Tuesday, my fibromyalgia has flared up pretty badly for the first time in a while.
Will see to my Mom and Sister, then will "go to Buckingham County" for a bit. Hope they have hot springs around there for my aches!

I may be in Buckingham County for awhile myself. Work is crushing me right now and Monday I'm having a procedure done under anesthesia (please keep good thoughts and also about the tests they will run afterward). So I may not be around much. I can check in on things occasionally from my phone, but that doesn't lend itself to much participation. Hope things go well with your procedure, Patriciaaanne. Keep us posted when you can. |

Will call the doctor's office shortly and try to reschedule for Friday. Otherwise I have to repeat all the pre-op testing. Oh well. They are talking between 1 and 2 feet, blizzard conditions. It would have started getting bad just as I was leaving the hospital. Better to be safe. Doctor was very sweet and understanding about it. Hope you all do well with this storm if you're affected. We're already planning to use the tractor to dig out the barn. Afraid of getting the truck stuck down there. |

BooBoo and I will be resting a bit - as you can see below, the little guy has been getting exhausted a lot lately chasing cats in the house and dogs on TV.

I was watching the episode "The Diploma" last night on the Hallmark Channel, and Mary Ellen told someone that her Grandma was in Buckingham County. LOL

We had a half day today because of the storm. I bet we have off tomorrow! Snow day! Baking today Kathy Lee? Want my address? Just about to start! Had to write lesson plans first. I am being observed next week so I had to write my observation forms and lessons. Not a fun way to spend a snow day but at least it is finished! |

Well, not going to Buckingham County this time, but will be taking a sabbatical from everything for a bit.
Traveling to Chicago on the choo choo train later today and will be in that area for a while taking a course. During that time I'll detach myself from social media. DETOX!
Couldn't have come at a better time. Things are just too crazy around the world. There's a furor down here about taking down General Robert E Lee's statue at Lee Circle. Then what to put up in its place. Thought the most clever solution: Put a big fleur de lis (symbol of New Orleans) on top of the pedestal. Then you can continue to call it "Lis" (pronounced Lee) Circle!
