How did Maude get to Rockfish for sugar so often during the episode about Ike's heart attack?
What was Ben's reaction when he turned Blue and the pony cart around and noticed that Martha Corrine had dropped dead?
If Dr. Vance could not make a living working on the mountain, what made Curt think he could? Could he? Did he?
Would you have fainted over the likes of Ashely Longworth?

Credit? Shocked! Because he was young and thought he could do anything. No, but if I wanted him I would have gotten him!

Charged to her account? Saddened but kind of expected it. Because his ego told him he could. No. Not my type. I like "down to earth" which he was far from. LOL

Good question!!! Surprised. Ego made Curt think he could outdo Dr Vance. Probably didn't live long enough to make a real living. LOL No Way

I think Scarlett means how did Maude get to Rockfish to buy the sugar not how did she pay for it. Perhaps a neighbor took here there and back? Or her son took her? I would imagine shocked. Curt worked at the hospital too so he probably had income from that. Once Mary Ellen finished nursing school she would have an income so had Curt not died/left they would have eventually had two incomes. No. He was nice looking but he turned out to be a jerk.

I think Maude rode Myrtle the goat . . . . We learned in The Best Christmas that Maude had broken her hip, so I guess she couldn't have walked too far . . . maybe the Iceman Cameth and gave her a ride like he did when she escaped from the old folks home. I don't think she really went to Rockfish anyway - I think that was just a threat so that Ike would hand over any sugar he was "closeting" away.
I'd guess that Ben went home screaming for Daddy - he might have loaded MC in the back of the pony cart first, but she was "dead weight" and Ben was fairly small. . . .
Maybe Curt sold airplane rides on the side - based on his experience as a pilot in The Wingwalker . . . . He probably knew he would be reincarnated in Florida, and just let the debt pile up.
Ashley L was pretty cute. I would say he was much too young for me, but his age didn't seem to bother Miss Emily at all. I would have encouraged that May-December romance, rather than coveting him for myself.

I would assume Maude got a lift with the guy who drove the junk cart.
Ben would have returned to the house to get John and Grandpa.
Dr Vance's problem was that he was not upfront enough with the locals to demand payment of his services in cash. Probably too mindful of the fact that people were short of cash in those times, Curt was bold and cheeky enough to hand a patient a bill and follow it up if it wasn't paid and I could not see him accepting jars of jam as currency either.
I thought Miss Emily fainted with the shock of Ashley returning rather than at how good looking he was...I must be the only one on here who did not find him to be all that, he's good looking of course but he just didn't do it for me.

Ashley didn't do it for me, either. Too much of a pretty boy for me. I like "manly men." As I've said before, I like men who look good in flannel, can drive a tractor and know which end of a gun to shoot. Coincidentally, my Honey fits all three. He also helped me fix my horse fence in the pouring rain. It doesn't get much sexier than that.

Yancy Tucker Perhaps? (maybe not, but it's a fun thought.) Sad Ego. Somehow I think that the only "in kind" type of payment Curt would have taken was the recipe. It being medicinal and all. No to Ashley... Curt is more my type. Aside from John Boy.

I think I have a better opinion of Curt than most. He was very committed to bringing good medical care to Walton's Mountain. I don't think he would have turned anyone away for lack of payment. If money were the most important thing to him, he wouldn't have been a whistleblower at the mine. By the way...I think the best looking man on WM...bar none...was John Walton Sr.
