I know a lot of members here love little house on the prairie. Guess what a big screen movie version is in the works! So now to bad we can't get a new Waltons big screen version or at least a final reunion movie. Something we should push for, maybe here or on earls sight. DAVID

I heard abou that. But I don't think I would like it. It just would not be the same without the original cast.

Yes without the late Michael Landon a Little House reunion movie would not be the same. ?

I think the possibility for a Little House big screen movie stands a better chance, with Melissa Gilbert still acting, than any kind of Walton reunion.... the only way that would happen is if Richard Thomas could be enticed, and I don't think there's much chance of that happening.... sadly

I think the movie stands a chance to be ok because it will be built on the series and books premise. People look at movies differently same way we love the Walton tv series most of us have a place in our heart for the homecoming even if some of the actors are different. That's why in my opinion a big screen movie of the Walton if it had new actors would be fun to see and draw more people to one of the best series on tv. That being said my preference would be to see one more reunion with the original remaining cast members. I loved some of the ideas members had here to finish and wrap up loose endings. My wish was to always see john and Olivia in the role as grandparents sadly that can't happen, but want one more reunion movie so much DAVID

A prequel movie would be great maybe starting when Rome Walton first arrived at Waltons Mountain.

Didn't care for the Beyond the Praire...not the best choices for actors.

Tonyray, What a great idea for a Walton's prequel movie. I would like to maybe see a prequel movie or series with John and Olivia say as teens and being able to see zeb and Esther as parents. What a character grandpa could be to play and we could learn more about the early life of olivia. What say everyone else. David

How about doing it as flashbacks? John Boy is sitting on the porch reading Roan Walton's diary to his kids and we keep fading to flashbacks of the events he is reading.

Dallas had a prequel movie. It was when Jock, his brother and Digger were all wildcatters. The prequel also had Miss Ellie and her family. It jumped to when JR was younger, and Bobby,Pamela,Cliff and Gary were younger,I thought the movie was good.
