I've seen those Arret/Stop signs at Canada/USA border crossings.... would make sense to keep those, I think.
Also, hope sueinbc or others reply, because the piece I read said different areas of Canada have different signs.... of course, one can't necessarily believe what one reads on the internet

I lived in BC for a few years, same stop signs as Ontario or NY state. I am unaware that Canada has any different signs than what has been posted already.

The stop sign from Season 7 Episode 22 "The Tailspin" I guess season 7 producers weren't into historical accuracy as much as season 1 producers. Will have to look for those signs. Very interesting. would be a good question for a trivia contest!

I remember that the driver instruction handbook that I had long ago showed the yellow diamond with "STOP" lettered on it, asking what was the rule. It was almost a trick question, because it was just as mandatory as the red octagonal STOP sign.

Being born in the 1970's, I have never seen a yellow stop sign. I imagine that if I was in an antique store and saw a yellow sign, I would think that someone made a goof. Never knew that there was even such a thing. Interesting.
